Jalapeño Taco Meat

I just made the BEST taco meat for our taco salad tonight! Very flavorful and with a little bit of heat 😁 I add the spices according to my taste so the measurements can very. I add extra red pepper flakes for more spice! The amount of jalapeños is entirely up to you! I used about 1/2 cup!

Jalapeño Taco Meat

You Will Need:

1lb ground beef
Sliced jalapeño peppers (I was in a hurry so I used from a jar)
1/2 cup of water
1tsp Red chili pepper flakes
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Oregano
2 tbsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Garlic salt
1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
1/2 tsp Paprika

Start by mixing all of the spices together in a small bowl and set it aside. Turn your skillet on and cook your ground beef mixed with your jalapeños until the meat is completely brown..  I used a masher to crumble up all the ground beef and jalapeños. Then quickly drain the excess grease from the pan and put it back on the burner. Now add 1/2 cup of water to your ground beef mixture and stir in your spices! Stir to combine and let it simmer until the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and enjoy with your favorite Mexican dish!
